We’re ba-aaaack!
After an extended hiatus (I was disappearing like Ocho Cinco’s fantasy football stats) “The Hot Read” is back. Starting today, I will be making some modifications that will change the world. Or at least this blog. From now on, blogs will be kept to about five minutes. That will make sure you get the news you need. And it will also make sure you don’t get caught by your boss reading that news either. If you can believe it, “The Hot Read” is getting even hotter. Consider it the hurry-up offense. During the two-minute drill. Enjoy.
By the looks of things, Pittsburgh will wrap up the AFC North title in a few weeks. Baltimore is inconsistent. Cleveland is bad. Cincinnati is abysmal. That’s good news for the Steelers, who are exceeding expectations this season. Even the most die-hard black and gold fans would have happily agreed to a 5-1 record back in August.
This week is pivotal for the Eagles, who should be fairly healthy and rested after the bye week. Plus, the Eagles have a very beatable opponent in the Falcons coming to town. The beginning of a hot streak could start this week. Stay tuned.
