The American Music Awards are Sunday night on ABC (8 p.m.) and performing live on the show will be Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Daughtry and, of course, Adam Lambert.
Idols nominated for awards include Daughtry as favorite adult contempoary artist and Carrie as favorite female country artist.
Adam, whose debut CD hits stores Tuesday, rehearsed for his performance Thursday at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, and The Associated Press provided the following photos from that rehearsal.

I thought his performance was a little raunchy. I was a little disappointed. TV just isn’t what it used to be. I voted for him and I’m wondering why now.

WOW!!! How disturbing is this dude. The somewhat entertaining AMA’s ended on quite a low note. Between his ‘Prince’ like wannabe vocals and his ‘MAN HUMPING’, what is Dick Clark thinking? I just lost what little respect I have left for ‘idol’. It’s hard to believe that this guy went through the same competition as Carrie and Daughtry who had great performances.
Save your money, Adam…

Too bad that a music award show is now something else that kids shouldn’t be watching. TV sucks, in general, so this is just another reason not to watch.
